Welcome to your moment....with me... cherish it. Food Alert! Before you go around telling people how ''Healthy" you are because you eat yogurt, or flax Cereal. Most flavored yogurt that you buy at the Grocery store, whether it be regular, lite, or non-fat has upwards of 15 grams of SUGAR.That's right, 15 Grams. I refer you to Fooducate. Flax cereal, Organic and regular, has 5 to 11 grams and up of FAT, per serving, which is 3/4 cups. Top it off with 220 calories, and 23 grams of carbs, and you are eating real healthy. Sure you are. Keep thinking that. Seriously, the only weight you are losing is in your wallet. Have you seen the price for this Crap? $4.50 and up for juiced up Wheat Germ? Anyways, do what I do. For yogurt, get the plain no flavoring, Nonfat yogurt, and put your own fruit or flavorings in. What I like to do is put a little vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and raisins or cherries, put it in the freezer for 45 minutes, and eat. Not Ben and Jerrie's, but it'll satisfy a craving. No sugar As fart as the cereal goes, remember the stores put the healthy stuff above eye level, for most of us. The lower levels are stocked for the kiddies with sugar addictions. I prefer the rice or wheat puffs. No sugar, no salt, just puffed cereal. I add raisins, cinnamon, and sometimes honey or splenda. Oh, and do not underestimate Oatmeal. Don't follow the sheeple and get the expensive"Steel Cut", "Organic", or ''The Cow farted on me" varieties, just get the instant oatmeal. Put some Lite flavored creamer, orange juice or whatever floats your boat. Oatmeal is good for you. I have a friend who puts peanut butter and honey in hers, swears by it.Whatever. Just remember, not everything good for you, is good for you.
